I bought 40k racks and used em all on my way to 3600 demonics for 4th zentye and 3.5k shaman pre blow pipe. You could practice/simulate fight caves in these worlds without the loss of supplies. I would say the dps increase from the Karil'ls compensates for the loss of prayer from the book (the longer you have to kill magers + have mage pray on the more ppots you use per wave). IMO if you dont have the money for a blowpipe - leave the fire cape for ... Karil's leathertop is a degradable piece of ranged armour worn in the body slot that is part of Karil the Tainted's set of barrows equipment. To wear Karil's top, a player must have 70 Defence and 70 Ranged .Karil's is better but only very marginally so it's probably not worth using over d'hide once you facotr in repair costs. mage def barely matters at zulrah since the only magic damage you take is from the mage snakelings, and karil's range defense is barely better than black d'hide (+4 total from top and bottom)Karil is pretty easy at 70+ melee with a dds and super pots. All depends on stats and gear though. 75 atk and 74 str. No pots except prayer pots with torag, armadyl bracers, dragon boots, fury, and archer ring (i) is all my other gear. I doubt it matters too much. I have been learning zulrah fairly successfully with blessed dhide and mystics.The set together isn't but the Top, skirt, and bow are.
